Average second-grade coke price in China up 12 percent in early Dec

In early December (December 1-10) this year, the average price in China of coking coal was recorded at RMB 1,150.0/mt ($173.5/mt), remaining stable, while the average price of second-grade metallurgical coke was recorded at RMB 1,765.4/mt ($267.1/mt), up 12.0 percent, both compared to prices in late November (November 21-30), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on December 14.
