In mid-November (November 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($194.3/mt) and RMB 2,520.8/mt ($363.2/mt), remaining stable and increasing by RMB 28.6/mt ($4.1/mt) or 1.1 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in early November (November 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
