Average second-grade coke price in China up 0.3 percent in early June

In early June (June 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,356.0/mt ($199.2/mt) and RMB 2,035.8/mt ($294.3/mt), increasing by RMB 6.0/mt ($0.88/mt) and RMB 5.4/mt ($0.8/mt), i.e., up 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in late May (May 21-31), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
