In late November (November 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($194.3/mt) and RMB 2,300.9/mt ($331.5/mt), remaining stable and decreasing by RMB 219.9/mt ($31.7/mt) or 8.7 percent, respectively, compared to prices in mid-November (November 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
