Average second-grade coke price in China down 5.4 percent in early Jan

In early January (January 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($194.3/mt) and RMB 1,926.3/mt ($281.2/mt), remaining stable and decreasing by RMB 109.5/mt ($16.0/mt) or 5.4 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in late December (December 21-31) last year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
