Average second-grade coke price in China down 5.1% in late June

In late June (June 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,380.0/mt ($201.2/mt) and RMB 1,912.4/mt ($278.8/mt), remaining stable and decreasing by RMB 103.4/mt ($15.1/mt) or 5.1 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in mid-June (June 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
