Average second-grade coke price in China down 4.2 percent in late Sept

In late September (September 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,210.0/mt ($175.4/mt) and RMB 2,358.8/mt ($341.9/mt), increasing by RMB 22.5/mt ($3.3/mt) and decreasing by RMB 104.2/mt ($15.1/mt), or up 1.9 percent and down 4.2 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in mid-September (September 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
