Average second-grade coke price in China down 13.3 percent in late Oct

In late October (October 21-31) this year, the average price in China of coking coal was recorded at RMB 1,280.0/mt ($194.5/mt), remaining stable compared to the price in mid-October (October 11-20), while the average price in China of second-grade metallurgical coke was at RMB 1,764.5/mt ($266.1/mt), decreasing by RMB 271.1/mt ($40.9/mt) or down 13.3 percent compared to the price in mid-October, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on November 6.
