Average second-grade coke price in China down 0.1 percent in mid-December

In mid-December (December 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($194.3/mt) and RMB 2,078.3/mt ($299.5/mt), remaining stable and decreasing by RMB 3.1/mt ($0.45/mt), or remaining stable and down 0.1 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in early December (December 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
