Average second-grade coke price in China down 0.1 percent in late Jan

In late January (January 21-31) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($194.3/mt) and RMB 1,867.5/mt ($276.7/mt), remaining stable and decreasing by RMB 1.4/mt ($0.21/mt) or 0.1 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in mid-January (January 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
