Average HRB 400 rebar price in China down 4.6 percent in mid-November

In mid-November (November 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes, and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were respectively recorded at RMB 4,429.8/mt ($668.3/mt), RMB 4,539.3/mt ($654.1/mt), RMB 4,196.5/mt ($604.7/mt), RMB 4,040.3/mt ($582.2/mt), RMB 5,188.5/mt ($747.6/mt) and RMB 4,384.0/mt ($631.7/mt), decreasing by RMB 215.1/mt ($31.0/mt), RMB 199.7/mt ($28.8/mt), RMB 132.0/mt ($19.1/mt), RMB 151.4.0/mt ($21.8/mt), RMB 132.7/mt ($19.1/mt) and RMB 120.1/mt ($17.3/mt), i.e., down 4.6 percent, 4.2 percent, 3.0 percent, 3.6 percent, 2.5 percent and 2.7 percent, respectively, compared to prices in early November (November 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
