Automotive sales in Turkey up 89.75 percent in January

In January this year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased by 89.75 percent year on year and fell by 69.9 percent month on month to 27,273 units, according to the statistics released by the Turkish Automotive Distributors Association (ODD).

In the given month, domestic sales of passenger cars in Turkey were up by 100.53 percent year on year and declined by 68.9 percent month on month to 22,016 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles rose by 54.89 percent year on year and decreased by 73.3 percent month on month to 5,257 units.
