On April 6, Pilbara-based iron ore explorer Warwick Resources announced four new high-grade iron ore targets at its 100 percent-owned McCamey's South project near Newman.
The project tenements border the entire 23.5 kilometer long southern boundary of BHP Billiton's McCamey's Monster mining lease.
Warwick's tenements cover about 25 hectares and the company reports that strong iron enrichment has been mapped and sampled at four locations; the Watertank Hill, Sliver, Cracker and Wafer prospects.
The company intends to undertake initial initial reverse (RC) drilling at McCamey's South in April.
Meanwhile, the company announced on March 31 that it has outlined further high grade iron ore mineralization on its 100 percent-owned Woggaginna iron ore project near Newman. Woggaginna is located 55 km southeast of Newman and 35 km south of BHP Billiton's Jimblebar iron ore mine and railway.
Warwick Resources is an emerging iron ore explorer with a diverse asset portfolio near Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Pilbara is known for hosting world class iron ore mines. The company's projects have a combined area of 1,700 square km. Warwick Resources has forged strategic relationships with Peak Drilling and Atlas Iron Ltd for development of its iron ore projects.
