Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has finalized the review of the antidumping (AD) measures applying to certain hot rolled structural steel sections (HRS) exported to Australia by Hyundai Steel Company and other exporters from South Korea. The review commenced March 19, 2018 upon the request filed by Liberty Steel.
Accordingly, Hyundai Steel Company will be subject to a 9.9 percent dumping margin, while other exporters will be subject to a 13.9 percent duty.
The antidumping duties were originally imposed in November 20, 2014 and stood at 2.52 percent for Hyundai Steel Company and 3.24 percent for uncooperative exporters.
The products subject to antidumping duty currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7216.31.00, 7216.32.00, 7216.33.00 and 7216.40.00.
