ATZ increases steel pipe production in January-July

In July this year, Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 19,239 mt of steel pipes. In the January-July period of the current year, the mill increased its steel pipe output by 10.5 percent compared to the same period of 2011, reaching 117,662 mt.

In July this year, ATZ shipped 19,924 mt of steel pipes. In January-July, ATZ increased its shipments of steel pipes by 17.3 percent year on year to 121,522 mt.
