ATZ increases steel pipe production in Jan-Apr

In April this year, Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 18,400 mt of steel pipes. In the January-April period of the current year, the mill increased its steel pipe output by 7.2 percent compared to the same period of 2012, reaching 69,886 mt.

In April this year, ATZ shipped 18,154 mt of steel pipes. In January-April, ATZ increased its shipments of steel pipes by 8.3 percent year on year to 69,961 mt.
