ATZ increases steel pipe output by 10.4 percent in Q1

In March this year, Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 18,280 mt of steel pipes. In the January-March period of the current year, the mill increased its steel pipe output by 10.4 percent compared to the same period of 2012, reaching 51,486 mt.

In March this year, ATZ shipped 18,036 mt of steel pipes. In January-March, ATZ increased its shipments of steel pipes by 8.8 percent year on year to 51,807 mt.
