Argentina’s auto production output in October this year totaled 43,854 units, falling by 6.6 percent month on month and up 15.9 percent year on year, as announced by the country’s automotive industry association Adefa.
According to Adefa, in October Argentinian auto exports increased by three percent compared to the previous month and were up by 51.7 percent compared to October last year to 21,176 units. Meanwhile, car sales in the country in October totaled 74,416, decreasing by 2.3 percent month on month and growing by 32 percent year on year.
The nation’s automotive industry produced 393,650 units in the January-October period of this year, 2.1 percent more year on year. In the same period, exports rose to 172,263 units, up 15.1 percent year on year.
