ArcelorMittal Temirtau increases crude steel output in January-June

In January-June of the current year, the largest metallurgical enterprise in Kazakhstan ArcelorMittal Temirtau increased its crude steel production by 22 percent compared to the same period last year, to 1.937 million mt.

In the given period, ArcelorMittal Temirtau's pig iron production increased by 21 percent to 1.646 million mt, its rolled steel production surged by 19 percent to 1.624 million mt, its production of agglomerate went up by 21 percent to 2.963 million mt, while its coal output decreased by four percent to 5.193 million mt - all on year-on-year basis.
