ArcelorMittal supplying Brazilian tubes for Nueva Palmira port in Uruguay

Steelmaker ArcelorMittal will supply about 800 mt of tubes for the expansion of the Nueva Palmira port in Uruguay, the company told SteelOrbis on Tuesday.

According to the steelmaker, it will provide welded helical tubes of large diameter from Brazil to the South American port, which receives products from Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.

ArcelorMittal explained the tubes will be delivered partially, according to the client’s needs. The shipments of the product will take place from December this year until January 2016.

The steelmaker said that it isn’t selling products other than the tubes for this specific project.
