ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih’s crude steel output down 2.5 percent in Jan-Aug

In the January-August period of the current year, the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 4.1235 million mt, down 2.5 percent year on year, as announced by the company.

In addition, in the first eight months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 1.7 percent decrease year on year in its finished steel output to 3.6361 million mt, while its pig iron production in the given period declined by 0.9 percent year on year to 3.6452 million mt.

Meanwhile, in August alone, the company produced 524,100 mt of crude steel, 467,300 mt of pig iron and 482,200 mt of finished steel products.
