ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih launches new rebar product

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian subsidiary of global steelmaker ArcelorMittal, has announced that its rolling shop No. 3 has mastered production of a new product, namely, 6 mm rebar according to the Ukrainian standard DSTU 3760:2006 for the civil and industrial engineering sectors. 
 
The company’s deputy head of rolling department leksandr Makarenko stated that, jointly with the technical administration of the plant, they have successfully mastered the production of 6 mm rebar of A400 grade, focusing on the demand and requirements of customers. The product is also in compliance with the standards of the Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Lebanon and many other countries. Mr. Makarenko added that such a leap in product mix expansion facilitates the increase of competitiveness of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.
