ArcelorMittal Brazil should generate about 920 temporary jobs to build a desalination plant and a new coking battery facility to reduce air pollution, according to a media report by Tempo Novo. The coking battery facility construction will provide 700 of the 920 total jobs.
The company’s desalination project, which will cost BRL 50 million ($11.1 million) is expected to be completed in up to 12 months. The facility will have a 500-cubic-meter per hour capacity to produce industrial water out of sea water.
