ArcelorMittal Brazil was awarded the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) from German-based industry association Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU), the company said this week.

The IBU is an association of building product manufacturers who joined forces to operate an international environmental product declaration program. ArcelorMittal Brazil said it was awarded the EPD certification for a number of longs products, including trusses, the C60 rebar, annealed wires and nails.

ArcelorMittal Brazil said other long products, including its CA25 and CA50 rebar, have already been certified by IBU in the past.
