Arcelor Sections announces May surcharge

Arcelor Sections Commercial, after reviewing the April scrap prices in the European market, decided to change its scrap surcharge on all beams and sections, according to a statement released by the company. Arcelor announced that the new scrap surcharge will be €86 per ton effective for deliveries as of May 1, 2005. The April surcharge on the same products was €98 per ton.
