Arcelor Sections announces January surcharge

Arcelor Sections Commercial, after reviewing the December scrap prices in the European market, decided to decrease its scrap surcharge on all beams and sections, according to a statement released by the company. Arcelor announced that the new scrap surcharge will be Euro 73 per ton effective for deliveries as of January 1, 2006. The December surcharge on the same products was Euro 78 per ton.
