April 04-February 05 Indian foreign trade data

Total exports of India during the April 2004 – February 2005 period increased 27.03% year-on-year to $69.7 billion. Exports in February 2005 alone increased 8.01% year-on-year to $6.71 billion. On the other hand, the imports during April 2004 – February 2005 increased 36.33% year-on-year to $93.63 billion. The non-oil imports increased 33.36% from the previous year to $67 billion. February 2005 imports increased 38.64% year-on-year to $9.34 million. The budget deficit for April 2004 – February 2005 increased $10 billion to $23.83 billion.
