Anyang Steel's profits record high

In the first quarter of 2005, China's Henan province based Anyang Steel totally realized RMB 5.23 billion ($632 million) sales revenue and RMB 265 million gross profit, up 19.85% and 88.23% year on year respectively, creating the best historical level. Confronting with flexible market situation, Anyang Steel has realized stable operation and development from the year beginning of 2005 with continuous output increase. During the quarter, Anyang Group totally turned out 1.55 mt of steel, 1.18 mt of iron and 1.17 mt of steel products, up 162.400 tons, 140.500 tons and 131.100 tons year on year.
