Anyang Steel Group’s crude steel output down 18.82 percent in H1

Henan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron and Steel Group has announced that it produced 4.39 million mt of pig iron, 4.55 million mt of crude steel and 4.66 million mt of finished steel in the first half of the current year, down 23.26 percent, 18.82 percent and 15.98 percent year on year, respectively.

The company stated that pressure from environmental protection measures negatively affected its output in the given period.
