Ansteel posts net profit of RMB 5.605 billion for 2017

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel Co. (Ansteel) has announced that in 2017 it achieved an operating revenue of RMB 84.31 billion ($13.4 billion), up 45.66 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 5.605 billion ($0.89 billion), rising by 246.84 percent year on year.

In 2017, Ansteel’s parent company Ansteel Group produced 22.0757 million mt of pig iron, 22.5974 million mt of crude steel and 20.6801 million mt of finished steel, increasing by 1.11 percent, 3.57 percent and 4.14 percent year on year, respectively.
