Anshan Steel’s steel production to exceed 10 mio tons

Chinese steel producer Anshan Iron and Steel's finished steel production is expected to exceed 10 million tons again in 2004. The company's iron production is expected to reach 11.5 million tons and steel production is expected to reach 11.3 million tons. In line with these figures, it is estimated that finished steel production of the company will exceed 10 million tons for the first time. Moreover, Anshan Iron and Steel's exports in Jan-Nov period of this increased by 172% from the corresponding period of previous year.
