Anshan Steel inks further agreement on cooperation with Yingkou Port

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Anshan Steel Group has lately inked a supplemental agreement with Yingkou Port Group on cooperation in relation to iron ore ports and steel ports at Yingkou.

Anshan Steel has been cooperating with Yingkou Port Group over a number of years now. In December 2007, Anshan Steel Group International Trade & Yingkou Port Co., Ltd was set up. In 2008, Anshan Steel Group signed three agreements with Yingkou Port Group regarding port cooperation. In addition, both sides in June 2008 decided to jointly operate the Bayuquan steel port and ore port.
