Annual output value of steel industry in Sichuan to reach RMB 350 billion by 2020

The total annual output value of the steel industry in China's Sichuan Province will reach RMB 350 billion ($55.3 billion) by 2020, as announced by the Sichuan Province Economic and Information Technology Commission and the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Meanwhile, Sichuan Province will build up several key competitive steel enterprises and will reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions, according to the same announcement.
