According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October this year the consumer price index (CPI) for Turkish industry in general increased by 2.67 percent month on month, while annual inflation reached 25.24 percent.
Among the main product groups, the highest increases were seen in the clothing and footwear group, with a rise of 12.74 percent on month-on-month basis, and in the household goods group, up 37.92 percent on year-on-year basis.
