Annual inflation rate in Turkey reaches 10.56 percent in November

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November the consumer price index (CPI) for Turkish industry in general increased by 0.58 percent month on month, while annual inflation increased to 10.56 percent from 8.55 percent recorded in October.

Among the main product groups, the highest month-on-month increase was seen in clothing and shoe wear with 2.69 percent, while the highest year-on-year increase was registered in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products with 43.35 percent.
