Angang to construct one million mt cold rolling project in Fujian Meizhou

On December 23, Meizhou government of China's Fujian Province held a coordination meeting for the cold rolling project of Angang Steel Company Ltd (Angang). It is reported that based on the agreement inked between Meizhou government and Angang's parent company, Anshan Steel Group, Angang will invest about RMB 3 billion (approx. $440 million) to build a cold rolling project in Meizhou city, with its annual capacity of one million mt.

Angang is specialized in production of steel products such as hot rolled sheets, cold rolled sheets, galvanized steel sheets, color coating plates, silicon steel, thick plates, wire rods and seamless steel pipes.
