On July 5, Liaoning Province-based Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation (Angang) issued the August ex-factory prices for its products. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
The prices of common carbon HRC for August have decreased RMB 550/mt ($72/mt). Thus, the new price of Q235 5.5 mm x 1,500 mm x C is RMB 3,120/mt ($411/mt). Meanwhile, prices of SPHC have decreased RMB 400/mt ($53/mt), with the ex-factory price of SPHC 3.1 mm x 1,000-1,199 mm x C standing at RMB 3,250/mt ($428/mt).
2. CRC
Prices have dropped by RMB 400/mt ($53/mt). Following the adjustment, the ex-factory price of ST12 1.0 mm is at RMB 3,970/mt ($522/mt).
3. HDG
Prices have decreased RMB 230/mt ($30/mt). As a result, St01Z 1.0 mm is now priced at RMB 4,530/mt ($596/mt).
4. Color coated
Prices have been reduced by RMB 400/mt ($53/mt). Thus, the ex-factory price of 0.5 mm x 1,000 mm x C is RMB 5,600/mt ($737/mt).
The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 5, 2007.
