Angang adjusts April prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Based on the previous price adjustment dated March 7, Angang (Anshan Steel) adjusts its April prices as follows: 1. The prices of hot rolled sheet/coils increased RMB 280/mt ($35). Now the ex-factory price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 hot rolled products is RMB 3,360/mt ($419). The price of auto sheet increased RMB 100/mt ($12). 2. Cold rolled steel prices increased RMB 200/mt ($25). Now the ex-factory price of 1.0 mm thick ST12 cold rolled sheet is RMB 4,410/mt ($551). The transportation subsidy given by the steelmaker to traders for all the markets has resumed. In other words, the steelmaker will discount RMB 50/mt ($6) for North China, and RMB 100/mt ($12) for East and South China as the transportation subsidy for traders. 3. Medium plate prices increased RMB 200/mt ($25). The ex-factory price of 20 mm Q235 medium plates reached RMB 3,200/mt ($400). 4. The price of galvanized coils increased RMB 200/mt ($25). After the adjustment, the price of 0.5 mm ST01Z galvanized coils is RMB 4,890/mt ($610), and that of 1.0 mm ST01Z galvanized coils is RMB 4,260/mt ($532). The price of color coated coils also increased RMB 200/mt ($25). After the adjustment, the ex-factory price of 0.45 mm TST01 color coated coils is RMB 5,500/mt ($687). The prices are effective from April 7, and taxes are excluded from all prices.
