Amurmetall receives Germanischer Lloyd certification for slabs

The Russian steel producer Amurmetall has announced that it has successfully passed the Germanischer Lloyd (GL) standards certification test for its slabs used in shipbuilding.

Accordingly, Russian Far East-based Amurmetall has gained GL's approval for its slabs produced for the manufacture of shipbuilding plates of PCA, РСВ, РСD,PCE, PCA 32, РСВ 32, РСD 32,PCE 32, PCA 36, РСВ, 36, PCA 40, РСВ 40, РСD 40,PCE 40 steel grades with thicknesses of 4-25 mm.

GL is a German ship classification society and an international inspection, certification and technical consultancy company.

Currently, Amurmetall is working on receiving certification from London-based Lloyd's Register Group.
