Alchevsk to increase rolled steel output in November

Ukrainian steelmaker Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works (Alchevsk), a subsidiary of Ukrainian steel producer Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD), has announced that in November this year its plans to increase its production of rolled steel products by seven percent month on month to 330,000 mt and aims to increase its production of crude steel by around 10 percent compared to October, to around 365,000 mt.
 
In the January-October period of the current year, Alchevsk shipped 2.8 million mt of steel products, down eight percent year on year.
