AK Steel announces September surcharges

According to the statement released by Middletown-based steel producer AK Steel, surcharge on flat rolled carbon steel products effective for shipments as of September will be $142 per ton. Moreover, surcharge on electrical steel products effective for shipments as of September will reportedly be $240 per ton. AK announced that surcharges are adjusted in line with the costs.
