AHMSA supplies steel plate to build Monclova’s bridge in Mexico

Mexican integrated steelmaker Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA) has provided 530 mt of high resistance structural steel plate for Monclova’s new vehicular bridge, located in the city of Coahuila, in the Mexican state of Monclova.
 
According to AHMSA, the project received a MXN 100 million investment ($5.5 million). Construction company COIMSA received AHMSA’s structural steel plates, which were modified at its plant for further use as a base for the bridge.
 
AHMSA has provided steel for a number of local projects in the state of Monclova, where its mill is located.
