AD, CVD reviews on steel rail imported from Canada revoked

On January 3, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated sunset reviews of antidumping and countervailing duty orders on steel rails imported from Canada. The orders dealt specifically with steel rails, whether of carbon, high carbon, alloy or other quality steel. Interested parties were requested to file their responses with respect to the initiation of the reviews. A lack of response from domestic parties prompted the DOC to revoke the antidumping and countervailing duty orders.
