ACCC approves Smorgon, OneSteel & BlueScope merger

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has granted its approval for the proposed merger between Smorgon Steel and OneSteel or the proposed acquisition by BlueScope Steel of the Smorgon Steel Distribution Business.  

The ACCC granted its decision upon the provision of revised actions by OneSteel relating to unsuccessful antidumping applications concerning particular products made or supported by OneSteel over the next five years.
