$42 billion to be invested in key projects in Guangzhou in 2020

RMB 295.9 billion ($42 billion) will be invested in 675 key projects in Guangzhou city in China’s Guangdong Province - one of the first-tier cities in China - in 2020, as announced by the Guangzhou Development and Reform Commission.

Meanwhile, RMB 35.2 billion ($5.0 billion) will be invested in 88 key preparatory projects in Guangzhou in 2020.

The projects in question include transportation infrastructure projects, industrial construction projects, ecological and environmental protection projects, and projects to improve people’s living conditions.
