25.6 billion $ to be invested in 29 key transportation projects in Sichuan

Construction work has started on twenty-nine transportation projects in China’s Sichuan Province, with the projects worth a total investment of RMB 180.8 billion ($25.6 billion), as reported by local media on September 16.

The projects include eight high-speed road projects, with a total investment of RMB 157.3 billion ($22.2 billion), and twenty-one national and provincial road and red tourist road projects, with an aggregate investment of RMB 23.5 billion ($3.3 billion).

The projects will further improve local transportation and travel conditions and promote the integrated development of transportation and tourism.
