2,500 km of new high-speed railways to be launched in China before year-end

In China, 10 new railway lines, including 2,500 kilometers of new high-speed railways, will enter into operation in the period up to the end of 2018, as announced by China Railway Corporation (CRC).

Meanwhile, as of January 5, 2019, China’s new railway schedules, following the addition of the new high-speed railways, will result in the transportation capacity of high-speed railways in China being increased by nine percent compared to the current railway schedules.
