Nucor files AD, CVD petitions against steel fasteners from China, Taiwan

The US industry has filed antidumping (AD) and countervailing (CVD) duty petitions against standard steel fasteners from China and Taiwan.

These cases were filed Tuesday by Nucor Fastener

If the investigations proceed, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) will make its preliminary injury determination in these cases on November 9, 2009. If the investigations follow a normal schedule, preliminary dumping or subsidy determinations by the US Department of Commerce (DOC) will be made in the AD and CVD cases on March 2, 2010 and December 17, 2009, respectively.
