US tubing producers announce $60/nt price increase

North American hollow structural section (HSS) tube manufacturer, Atlas Tube, announced to customers late Monday that its HSS tubing prices have increased by $3.00 cwt. ($66/mt or $60/nt), effective immediately. Other US and Canadian tubing mills have reportedly matched Atlas Tube's increase.
