Both the US domestic and import API X-42 electric resistance welded (ERW) line pipe have held sideways since out last report a week ago, with bookings, order activity and inquiries also remaining stable.  As it stands, the most commonly reported futures prices out of Taiwan and Vietnam are still at approximately $38.50-$39.50 cwt. ($849-$871/mt or $770-$790/nt) DDP loaded truck US Gulf coast ports while US domestic spot prices continue to hold at $51.00-$52.00 cwt. ($1,124-$1,146/mt or $1,020-$1,040/nt) ex-Midwest mill.  As with last week, all eyes continue to be on the final determination announcement on the OCTG trade case, which is due out early next month.  SteelOrbis source continue to report rampant chatter that a line pipe filing could be just around the corner if those margins and duties are high.
